If you’re a regular at Pankrác, chances are you already know Tereza. She’s been part of our crew for around two years now, and in that time, she’s grown to love not only working with coffee, but above all the people around her.
Her journey to Pilot was actually pretty straightforward. She was looking for a part-time job, calling cafés and asking if they needed an extra pair of hands. Pilot stood out to her the most, so that’s where she eventually landed.
It didn’t take long for her to fall for coffee. She still remembers the Venezuelan coffee we had on the grinder when she first joined. It made such an impression that she can still recall it years later.
A typical day for Tereza at Pankrác starts with getting the café ready for the first guests. If everything is set and she has a few minutes to spare, she makes herself her favourite lactose-free flat white – a little pre-flight ritual before the day gets going.
What Tereza enjoys most about working in a café is the people. She loves seeing guests feel at home here and knowing they enjoy coming back.
When she’s not at Pilot, you’ll most likely find her at school or spending time with her boyfriend and friends. She’s also into sports and would love to make more time for them in the future.
And a few things you probably wouldn’t guess while ordering your coffee? Tereza is a natural blonde, she loves pink, and no soundtrack to her shift would be complete without Viktor Sheen.
