Bar\u010da is one of the familiar faces at our Pilot caf\u00e9 in Pankr\u00e1c that many guests recognize. She\u2019s a barista who has been behind the counter almost from the very beginning - actually, since the opening. When you come in for your morning coffee today, there\u2019s a good chance she\u2019ll be the one preparing your first cup.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She joined Pilot quietly, simply looking for a part-time job at a caf\u00e9. But as is often the case in hospitality, the part-time role slowly turned into a full-time position - and suddenly, she\u2019s been behind the bar for nearly three years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What she enjoys most about the job is its variety. No day is exactly the same. Every shift has a slightly different rhythm, different guests, and a different kind of energy. And that\u2019s exactly what she loves most about it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Her favorite coffees? Batch brew or an oat flat white. Two coffee classics that never disappoint and are just as great in the morning as in the afternoon.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A typical day at the caf\u00e9 follows a pretty clear routine for Bar\u010da. First, she opens the caf\u00e9, then handles the morning rush and the first batch brew. After that, it\u2019s lunchtime, the second batch, and the afternoon rush. Somewhere in between, there\u2019s also time to pet a few dogs that stop by with their owners for coffee. Then it\u2019s time to clean up and head home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

What makes her happiest during a shift? When regular customers come in - and when lots of dogs appear at the door. At Pilot, we know well that dogs can be just as important a part of the visit as the coffee itself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When asked about funny moments, Bar\u010da simply says: \u201cEvery day with my colleagues.\u201d And that pretty much sums it up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When she\u2019s not working, she\u2019s usually working out or out doing coffee catering with Pe\u0165a, where Pilot brings its vibe beyond the caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

One of her hidden talents is that she\u2019s really good at the game \u201cCountries-Cities.\u201d And if she didn\u2019t work in a caf\u00e9, she could see herself as a Pilates instructor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Her superpower? Apparently, she makes really good lasagna.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And something people might not guess about her? She\u2019s afraid of buttons.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

When Bar\u010da arrives at work, ideally, the track \u201cNumber 1\u201d by Ektor should be playing - a song that sets the shift\u2019s pace even before the coffee machine is turned on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

And the motto that best describes her? \u201cWhen you can\u2019t say something nice, don\u2019t say anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>
