The name Pilot Cafe was no coincidence. It brings together several things that have been close to our hearts from the very beginning.
The first inspiration came from Dakar. Our captain, Martin Macík, competes in the Dakar Rally, where the truck driver is known as the pilot. The pilot, navigator, and mechanic form a close-knit team built on experience, trust, and teamwork.
The second inspiration came from the location of our very first café. Pilot Cafe opened in Letná in 2019. The name Letná itself is connected to aviation, and the area has a long-standing history with flying. Just a few steps away, you'll find the National Technical Museum, home to one of the most important aviation exhibitions in the Czech Republic.
This is where all these ideas came together.
But we didn't want aviation to remain just a part of our name. We created a concept that runs through our entire brand.
You'll find it in our interiors, visual identity, and countless little details. Our crew welcomes you on board, invites you to join us for the journey, and from time to time, you might even hear an in-flight announcement or a recommendation for an emergency coffee or brunch landing. Every detail is part of one story.
For us, Pilot Cafe is more than just a café. It's a place where you can take a break from the rush of everyday life, slow down, and enjoy great coffee and honest food.
