At Pilot Letná, we’re lucky to have many regulars. One of them is hockey player Lukáš Sedlák, who has been stopping by for quite some time, not only for coffee but also to pick up beans to enjoy at home.
He lives just a short walk from Letná, so the neighborhood is a place he knows well. When he’s not on the ice, you’ll often find him in Letná Park or Stromovka, whether it’s for a walk or a training session.
But it’s not just the location that keeps him coming back to Pilot. What he appreciates most is the quality of the coffee and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s a place he enjoys returning to, whether he has just a few minutes between commitments or wants to slow down and unwind.
His go-to order is usually the avocado tartare or Eggs Benedict. And coffee? That’s always part of the plan.
Lukáš also regularly takes home coffee beans from Pilot, using them mainly to brew cold brew or filter coffee. He used to be almost obsessive about precision, weighing every dose down to the gram. These days, his approach is a little more relaxed, but great flavor remains just as important.
When choosing coffee, taste is always his priority. He especially enjoys light-roasted coffees with bright acidity. One of his favorites is Costa Rica Alto El Vapor from Kmen, which he loves for its fresh, fruity flavor profile.
